Performance
The new Bronco has two powertrain options. Drivers around Erie, PA, who prefer the base engine will get a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 300 horsepower when powered with premium fuel. The optional engine is a 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that generates 310 horsepower when powered with comparable premium fuel.
The standard engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and each one offers impressive torque for getting up inclines or pulling heavy loads. The optional 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine powers the SUV with 315 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque.
The Ford Bronco comes standard with a part and a full-time four-wheel drive system that maximizes traction while conserving fuel. The part-time four-wheel drive system is great for driving on paved surfaces. It focuses only on powering the front wheels while actively monitoring your speed and traction to ensure maximum grip when needed near Titusville, PA.
The Ford Bronco also features automatic locking hubs that prevent the wheels from slipping, even when driving in rocky terrain. This system is activated when the driver shifts into four-wheel-drive mode and can be manually disengaged if needed.
The trail one-pedal driving feature allows the driver to control acceleration and braking from just one pedal. This makes navigating off-road trails easier, as it eliminates the need for drivers to switch between the gas and brake pedals constantly.
The 2023 Bronco also comes with a Trailer sway control to help you control your trailer when it starts to sway in the wind or on uneven surfaces. The system detects the trailer's motion and then uses the brakes to counterbalance it, ensuring better vehicle control while towing.
